A beam of sunlight has come into the barn as this horse wakes and waits for his breakfast. Soon his person will be here with hay and pats on the head before it’s time to be brushed, saddled and start work for the day. This horse is the most colorful I have done to date. I wanted to really demonstrate the Impasto Glaze technique that I have developed. The original has the depth of stained glass and just glows. – Donald Ryker
