Red Horse – aka Samson

Large Painting by artist Donald Ryker in textured expressionist impressionist art style with unique impasto glaze technique. Three sled dogs curl up in the snow to stay warm.

Red Horse is inspired by one of the rescues at Skydog Ranch. He was a wild and free mustang rounded up and sold for pennies. Today he has a free life on their 9000 acre sanctuary. I donated this painting to raise funds for their rescue.
