This red parrot is looking over his shoulder at another bird. You can see he is alert but not concerned. Maybe he is welcoming his friend to join him. I painted him in shades of red with glazes in purple, blue, red, yellow and coral. The background is green with a pthalo blue glaze. –Donald Ryker
