Labrador puppies are so cute and cuddly. I haven’t had my dogs this early in life because Service Dogs are 2 years old when they are ready to go to work. I love all the fluffy fur and scrambling around the puppies do, but there is no way I could manage to be a good puppy raiser with my disability. Thank goodness there are people who work hard to take care of young dogs so they can grow up to be Service dogs. – Donald Ryker

This is a small canvas for me. Painting small size is difficult because it requires much greater brush control. It was fun to try to make these two come to life. I think I got the essence of puppy in this piece. — Donald Ryker
