Wolf in Snow

Large Painting by artist Donald Ryker in textured expressionist impressionist art style with unique impasto glaze technique. A gold and purple wolf pauses while walking through the snow covered forest.

This wolf is a much more raw version of the techniques I use for sketching, and forming the shape through using different colors and values. I chose not to refine the strokes of color in his face and body and it creates a different feel. He is also one of the first I sketched myself.
